Deadline to purchase the optional Technology Insurance (alternately referred to as “Technology Fee”) is Friday, September 1. The yearly $25 cost covers the first iPad or laptop repair free. Certain first time repair or replacement costs without insurance could exceed $600. The $25 may be paid directly to your child's school. i-Ready testing reminders for MCMS. ELA testing will be on Thursday 8/17 and Math testing on 8/23.
Volleyball tryouts will be Tuesday, August 1-Friday, August 4 in the MCMS big gym from 3:30-5:00pm. Please have water, workout clothes and shoes. Email Coach Morgan if you have any questions.
MCMS Football Reminder:
Rising 7th and 8th Graders trying out for football, if you are going to participate in football, you need be sure to have your physical and all paperwork uploaded into PlanetHS before summer workouts begin on July 10th. Paper copies will not be accepted. Major Dates: July 10, 11, 13 and 17, 18, 20 we will practice at the Middle School practice field from 8:00-9:30AM. Bring your cleats. July 31st - August 3rd - First official Week of Tryouts/Practice. We will START at 3:30PM, be here early, "start" does not equal "be here" time. MCMS Volleyball Information:
June 17-22 is the Middle School Camp for 6th-8th graders at the Mid-Carolina High School big gym from 10am-12:00pm.
Open Gym July 10-14 in MCMS large gym form 10:00am-12:00pm.
Volleyball tryouts August 1-3 and first team practice will be August 4 in the MCMS big gym from 3:30-5:00pm.
All paperwork must be completed and uploaded into PlanetHS (Big Teams) before open gym/tryouts. Paper copies will not be accepted.
